Marauders Win!

On May 30th Portland Hurling Club avenged its earlier loss to the Barley House Wolves, 8-3 (27) to 3-10 (19). Our players showed much improvement in a hard-fought game. Way to go Marauders!

Thanks to the Barley House Wolves for making the trip from Concord, NH. They played a good game--perhaps we got a few more fortunate breaks than they did.

Afterwards, both teams gathered to celebrate...

On May 9th we played our first game of the season against the Barley House Wolves of Concord, NH. The good news is we had 5 team members who played in their 1st hurling match and performed admirably. The not so good news: we were soundly defeated by a Barley House Wolves team that is much improved over last year. Congratulations to the Wolves.
