2014 Hurling Season

Portland Hurling will be hosting its 2014 registration/information night upstairs at Brian Boru at 6pm on Thursday, April 17. New and perspective players are encouraged to come learn about the sport of hurling and our club. Returning players can register for the upcoming season and learn about what's new. Winners of the annual PHC awards will also be announced. Regular Wednesday night training will begin as soon as the snow is gone and we get the "all clear" from Wainwright field. Keep an eye on your email and this website for future updates.

A little About PHC

The Portland Hurling Club was formed in 2007 and has competed as a part of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 2008 as Maine's only registered GAA club. Our travel team is a member of the Boston/Northeast region 'Jr. C' division and plays regular season matches against teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. On the national level, PHC has played in seven states and Canada and the club has represented New England at the North American Championships five times, winning the shield trophy in San Francisco in 2011 and in Philadelphia in 2012.
